Announcement: 2025 Recurrent Education Program “Learning the Basics and Practice of Seating Posture Adjustment for Elderly Nursing Care”
In elderly care, “seating” is one individualized care approach used by facility staff to support older adults with decreased trunk and sitting balance functions so they can sit comfortably in chairs or similar settings.
By implementing proper seating as part of appropriate care, it is possible to achieve a more comfortable sitting posture, which can lead to improvements in activities of daily living (ADLs), prevention of pressure ulcers and aspiration, and even greater participation in social activities. Ultimately, it is expected to contribute to an improved quality of life (QOL).
Why not take the opportunity to learn about seating thoroughly through this two-part workshop?
